Services and gatherings at Heritage are postponed for the rest of March. We will provide an update at the end of the month.
UPDATE - March 15, 5:15 a.m.
As more information and more guidance, comes in about the current viral outbreak known as COVID-19, we wanted to let you know that services for Sun., Mar. 15/20 at this time have been cancelled. We are being intentional about this closure to prevent and protect everyone from the spread of this disease.
The best medical guidance about avoiding infection and preventing further spread continues to be adherence to hand hygiene (i.e. handwashing with soap and use of hand sanitizer) and to maintain social distance. With these two approaches, the medical community is confident that the pandemic will decelerate enough to allow the medical system to manage identified cases and keep the rest of us as safe as possible.
Church authorities encourage us all to "be cautious and stay connected.” For many congregations this has meant cancelling all services and connecting by phone or internet. We are choosing to not have a service on Sun., Mar. 15/20 and postpone the Pasta and Pie evening on Sat., Mar. 21/20 until this situation has been resolved due to the large number of us that would be gathered together.
Information about future services, events and activities will be made available closer to those dates.
Wishing you peace and strength,
